How to Build Muscle Fast
How To Build Muscle Fast
A great muscular physique - that's what most of us with an interest in gyms and weight lifting want. But it takes a bit more than a few weeks to build a great physique, so we all want to know how to build muscle fast...
Well, naturally building 10lbs of muscle a week, or even a month is not [usually] possible, but building more than 30lbs of lean muscle in six months is achievable given the right circumstances. I think I should have named this section: Building Muscle as Fast as POSSIBLE, but I felt I had to grab your attention.
Anyway, there are a multitude of methods, systems and courses out there and a great many do work and that is simply because if you get the basics right you will get muscle growth. Building muscle is not too difficult (even for hard-gainers) when you know the basic principles. Some people swear by high reps, some by low reps, some by pyramid sets, some by forced reps, negatives, one a half reps and the list goes on.
In truth most of these ways will build muscle as long as you get the other aspects right - good nutrition and adequate rest. However, some of these methods are only capable of adding a little muscle mass, whereas others are capable of adding huge slabs of muscle. Not only that some methods will take longer than others. So, what is the 'best' way to build muscle fast - or rather, build muscle as fast as possible?
The 'best' way is through using the most productive exercises and to do them with proper technique, with good supporting nutrition (which does not mean protein powders), with adequate rest and with sensible progression such that you increase your body's own testosterone production. Testosterone is an anabolic steroid that your body naturally makes that increases your body's ability to build muscle through increased protein synthesis. Testosterone is essential for health and well being.
So, with the above in mind I spent some time looking for a system that contained the best exercises with great nutritional advice, with adequate rest periods and one that stimulated your body's testosterone production. I also wanted to find a system that did not use muscle building supplements. What I have found so far that I recommend is Jason Ferruggia's System, Muscle Gaining Secrets.
I am not stopping there though. I am still looking into other systems, particularly Will Brink's Bodybuilding Revealed and Vince DelMonte's No-Nonsense Muscle Building that appear to be equally productive. When I have reviewed them I will post them on my reviews page. Another recent discovery of mine is The Lean Hybrid System which I plan to review after the other two.
